Bus
There are plenty of options to travel to and from GTM, Transport Canberra have a great network of buses or Light Rail options.

GETTING HOME
All bus services after the event will depart from the allocated bus bay located at the front of EPIC on Flemington Road. City buses will depart from 8:00pm to Tuggeranong Interchange via Woden and to Belconnen. City stops will be at the discretion of the driver on the night.
For your own safety, please follow the directional signage and instructions from traffic controllers, security guards and police officers.
Car

- 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Cooma
- 2 hours from Jindabyne
- 2 hours and 30 minutes from Wagga Wagga, Ulladulla or Wollongong

- 3 hours and 30 minutes drive from Albury
For those who REALLY like a road trip, the distance between Melbourne and Australia’s Capital is around 660 kilometres so you are looking at about a 7 hour drive. Throw this playlist on shuffle and you’re good to go!
Drop Off and Pick Up
Being dropped off at the Canberra Moo by a friend or family member?
A designated drop off and pick up zone will be located on Randwick Road which is a short walk from the entry gates to EPIC, there will be a dedicated bay with signage. Access to Randwick Road is via Flemington Road or the Barton Highway.
Please note: For your own safety, due to traffic control restrictions the Federal Highway will be a no stopping zone, follow the directional signage and instructions from Traffic Controllers, Security Guards and Police Officers, otherwise fines may apply.
If this area is too busy, you can access an alternative drop off and pick up zone at the newly established Well Station Drive Park & Ride car park, only accessed via Flemington Road. It will then be a short walk to the Well Station Drive Light Rail terminus to make your way to GTM.
Taxi
A designated taxi rank will be located on Randwick Road which is a short walk from the entry gates to EPIC, there will be a dedicated bay with signage. Access to Randwick Road is via Flemington Road or the Barton Highway.

Parking
If you can, using Canberra Public Transport will be the quickest and easiest way to get to and from the show!
If travelling by car there is limited parking available at the EPIC car park from 9:30am until late, please follow the signs and enter via Old Well Station Road off the Federal Highway if coming from the south or via Morriset Road off Flemington Road if coming from the north. Please note: For your own safety, due to traffic control restrictions the Federal Highway will be a no stopping zone, follow the directional signage and instructions from Traffic Controllers, Security Guards and Police Officers, otherwise fines may apply.
For alternative parking you may also access the newly established Well Station Drive Park & Ride car park, only accessed via Flemington Road. It will then be a short walk to the Well Station Drive Light Rail terminus to make your way to and from GTM.
Train & Light Rail
Train
Please note, these services are not run by GTM and are subject to change.
FROM SYDNEY
Canberra has a picturesque direct rail service from Sydney. Departing from Sydney Central Station, the daily service travels to the Canberra Railway Station in Kingston and the trip takes just over 4 hours. Check timetables and book online through the NSW Trainlink website or for more information or call: 13 22 32.
FROM MELBOURNE
While there is no direct Melbourne to Canberra rail service, it’s possible to catch the train to Albury and then be transferred by coach. The trip is about 8 and a half hours. Alternatively catch the Melbourne to Sydney train and transfer to the Canberra train from Goulburn railway station. This option will take just over 10 hours so best get your playlist sorted for the ride! Light Rail
Metro Light Rail has one route from Gungahlin to the City which stops at EPIC to make your trip easier. Here’s an easy link to help you plan your stop. This route runs every 15 minutes on Sunday’s between 7am and 11:30pm with additional services running in peak times for the event.

Getting Home
FREE bus services will depart from the bus bay at the front of EPIC from 8:00pm, and they will be travelling to major buses interchanges in Canberra.
The GTM taxi rank, ride share and public pick up are all located just a short walking distance from the EPIC front gates on Randwick Road. Please be aware that taxis and ride share services are limited.
Transport Canberra Light Rail services will be departing from the EPIC / Racecourse station on Flemington Road. Don’t forget to buy your ticket!
