The two-headed dancer floor monster that is the Bag Raiders are coming to town, and they are promising to bring the fat back-beat and vocoders with them. Shooting stars will tumble down into the GTM dance marquee and land glistening in your hair, as your feet split the atom in a boogaloo breakdown.
Over the last few years these gentlemen (Chris Stracey and Jack Glass) have been lobbing into raves, clubs and concerts hither and thither, making the world spin that little bit faster. Live jive action and a few crafty remixes started the whispers about los Bag Raiders, touring with MSTRKRFT, Cut Copy and Muscles, then two smash singles (Turbo Love and Shooting Stars) was enough to teleport them around the world (USA, Brazil, Colombia, Japan) and back to OZ again, breaking into the festival scene in 2009 with aplomb. Their youtube clip of Fun Punch has racked up a mere 700,000 views.
